Brilliant deep look into the gift of true (biblical) repentance as a complete turning from sin and the persistent turning of ones whole life to God out of love for Him and from Him.
The only reason it does not get a 5 is that the numbering system could be improved to make sub-lists more clear. But this book helped my heart so much and came at a time when I desperately needed it.
By far one of the best books I have read. Watson is thorough in his approach and is ever performing surgery on our self-righteousness. I believe every preacher can take away from these teaching for personal devotion and sermons alike. This is a volume that not be overlooked
I thought this was a very accessible book. There were times where it felt repetitive but then it also made me realize how nuanced repentance is. Also, from reading this book, I realized that what I'm being reminded today was also important back then.
Thankful for the reminders and also new lenses that this book provided me.
